Just like people, no two Saguaros look quite alike.

This particularly photogenic one I found while hiking in Lake Pleasant Regional Park, northwest of Phoenix, Arizona. With ten relatively small arms just starting to grow, I imagine it will be quite a behemoth by the turn of the next century.

As Saguaros start growing their arms between 50 and 70 years old, this one is likely between 70 and 100 years old.

Well that’s all, just a short Daily Dose today. I hope you are enjoying the last few days of 2024!
