Daily Dose of the Southwest: Canyon Cloud Parade

I’ve lost track of how many days I’ve spent at Grand Canyon — but its got to be over 300.

And by far my favorite are the ones with clouds. It can be happy little cumulus puffs, like the ones here floating over the North Rim back in September 2016.

You know me, I love the dramatic storms too. But any bit of atmospheric interest is a welcome sight when I’m out at the rim. And that goes for pretty much any day anywhere.

But especially at the Canyon, where the sky and the earth interact in the most fascinating ways. So here’s to the clouds. And have a great Monday.
